Reddy Ice Announces Management Changes

DALLAS, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. ("Reddy Ice" or the "Company") today announced the resignation of Jimmy C. Weaver, the Company's Chief Executive Officer and President, and a member of the Company's Board of Directors, effective December 1, 2007, due to medical reasons. The Company's Board of Directors has appointed William P. Brick, the Company's Executive Chairman, to serve as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, effective upon Mr. Weaver's departure. Mr. Brick previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company from April 2001 until Mr. Weaver assumed the role on May 17, 2007. The Company's Board of Directors has not yet appointed a successor to Mr. Weaver's Board seat.

The halftime contests conclude a three-month long national consumer promotion that challenged college football fans to Go For More throughout the season. The finalists for each of the championship games are:

Two contestants at each of the three conference championship games will compete against each other where they will have 30 seconds to throw 10 footballs from the five-yard line. The contestant who throws the most footballs into the target - a two- foot hole cut into an 8-foot Dr Pepper can - will be declared the winner and awarded 00,000. The winner has the option to keep the money or Go For More by attempting a throw from the 15-yard line for 00,000 or the 23-yard line for million. If the contestant fails in the Go For More attempt, they are still awarded 5,000. The runner-up is awarded 3,000.

For the 12th consecutive year, America's oldest major soft drink is giving fans the chance to win exciting prizes in-store, online and, for several lucky consumers, on the field.
