The halftime contests conclude a three-month long national consumer promotion that challenged college football fans to Go For More throughout the season. The finalists for each of the championship games are:

Dr Pepper will put these lucky fans on the field during halftime and let them Go For More for the chance to compete for million. Two contestants at each of the three conference championship games will compete against each other where they will have 30 seconds to throw 10 footballs from the five-yard line. The contestant who throws the most footballs into the target - a two- foot hole cut into an 8-foot Dr Pepper can - will be declared the winner and awarded 00,000. The winner has the option to keep the money or Go For More by attempting a throw from the 15-yard line for 00,000 or the 23-yard line for million. If the contestant fails in the Go For More attempt, they are still awarded 5,000. The runner-up is awarded 3,000.

For the 12th consecutive year, America's oldest major soft drink is giving fans the chance to win exciting prizes in-store, online and, for several lucky consumers, on the field. Fans have been entering codes at drpepper.com that they found under caps of Dr Pepper two-liter and 20 oz. bottles and inside specially marked Dr Pepper Football 12 packs or through participating retailer promotions. Winners could claim the first prize or they could Go For More to win something even bigger, including exciting gear, memorabilia, experiences and technology.
